Law Clerk

The Law Clerk program gives the student a general grounding in business with specialized training in various aspects of Canadian Law and legal procedures, which allows the student to be successful within the legal industry as a Law Clerk.

Law Clerks are usually employed by lawyers and their duties may include, managing real estate files, maintaining corporate documents and filings, drafting court documents and correspondence, preparing briefs for trial, and interviewing clients or witnesses.

Paralegals are usually self employed, and provide legal services to the public as allowed by government legislation, or provide paralegal services on contract to law firms or other establishments. Paralegals may also appear before administrative tribunals and certain courts.
