As a denturist, you will examine patients and design, construct, and repair removable dentures. Students are trained to assess a client’s oral health conditions and effectively communicate treatment options. Students will also be trained to deliver comprehensive treatment within a collaborative oral healthcare team.
Students will learn how to:

Measure patients’ jaws to determine size and shape of dentures required

Make impressions of patients’ teeth, gums, and jaws

Design and construct complete, partial & implant supported dentures

Insert & fit new dentures

Repair dentures

Reline, rebase, and adjust dentures

Fabricate mouth guards and bleaching trays
