Oxford College’s Advanced Esthetics and Spa Operations program gives you the hands-on training you need for a career in esthetics. As an esthetician, you will provide facial and body treatments designed to enhance an individual’s physical appearance. Other responsibilities include hair removal, manicures, pedicures, various types of cosmetic massage, and more.

Students will learn how to:

• Give facial and other body treatments using specialized products and techniques
• Advise customers on the use of makeup and other beauty products and apply makeup to customers; may specialize in applying makeup to models or other individuals for special occasions
• Remove unwanted hair permanently from clients’ faces or bodies using needle-only specialized electrical hair removal equipment, laser, and other equipment
• Clean, shape, and polish fingernails and toenails and provide related treatments
• Apply medicated lotions to treat scalp conditions and hair loss
