Business and International Development Foundation
 

While many International Development programs build from a foundation in sociology or anthropology, Tyndale's International Development program builds on a foundation of business enterprise, so that you will not only understand the important "why's" of International Development, but the practical "how's" to effect change and empower people in the global community. In Tyndale’s International Development BA, you are taught skills such as project management and evaluation, fundraising and sustainability practices, so that you can enter into the workforce with the ability to hit the ground running.

 

Internships
 

Integral to the program is an internship with an international development agency both at home and in the field. This gives you the experience needed to fully understand the realities of the field while being mentored by people already effecting change in the world. You will have the opportunity to take what you’ve learned in the classroom and apply it directly to the issues you will face in your future career in international development.
