Addictions & Mental Health Worker
You’ll gain hands-on practical experience throughout the Addictions & Mental Health Worker program. Your instructors are experts in their field who actively work in their profession. They bring in real life examples of how to apply the theory you are learning in each class.
Throughout the Addictions & Mental Health Worker program, you will learn practical skills on how to:

  • Concurrent Disorders
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI)
  • Group Facilitation Concepts including Group Work
At the end of your program, you will complete an internship allowing you to apply what you’ve learned. Your internship gives you a step above your competition with the real-world experience you gained as the internship provides students with hands-on experience. And from time to time, your internship can lead to employment.
