Pharmacy Assistant

As the baby boomer generation enters retirement age, more people will be in need of healthcare professionals.  Becoming a Pharmacy Assistant is a wise career choice as there will be many job opportunities upon graduation.

In only 32 weeks students can start their new and rewarding careers in the healthcare field. 

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

Students receive:

  • 200 Hour practicum 
  • Classrooms that stimulate real-world pharmacy settings, including relevant equipment 
  • Anatomy lab tour to the University of Guelph 
  • Free Microsoft Office, DreamSpark Standard and Office 8 Upgrade

Employment Opportunities: Graduates of this program may work for Pharmacists in retail pharmacies, home healthcare divisions/companies, insurance companies, institutional settings and pharmaceutical distribution wholesalers/manufacturers - to name a few.
